Title: Lead Barista & Beverage Innovator

Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and creative Lead Barista who is passionate about coffee and beverage innovation. He / She will be creating exciting new drinks, managing the bar team, and contributing to menu development with detailed costing reports. Not only excel in their craft but also possess leadership qualities to inspire and guide their team.

Key Responsibilities:

Beverage Innovation: Develop and test new, innovative drink recipes that align with our brand and customer preferences also keeping up with trends.

Menu Development & Costing: Create detailed reports on new menu items, including ingredient lists, suppliers, and cost analysis, to aid in pricing decisions and inventory management.

Team Leadership: Serve as the captain of the bar team, leading by example in craftsmanship and customer service. Organize training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge.

Performance Reporting: Regularly evaluate team performance, providing feedback and strategies for improvement. Compile and send comprehensive performance reports to HR and the company manager.

Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory of coffee and other beverage supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained and wastage is minimized.

Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to gather feedback on new drinks and overall service, fostering a welcoming and innovative atmosphere.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Barista, with a strong portfolio of created beverages. Leadership experience in a café or restaurant setting, with a track record of managing a team. Excellent knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, beverage preparation, and costing. Creative thinker with a passion for coffee and beverage innovation. Strong organizational and communication skills, with an ability to lead and inspire a team. Proficiency in inventory management and performance reporting. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
