English Teacher (Cabanag Jakarta Pusat)

Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic English Tutor to lead group classes of young and adult learners. The English Tutor will be responsible for conducting engaging and interactive lessons to improve students' English language skills. The ideal candidate will have a high proficiency in English, a passion for working with children, and the ability to create a fun and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan and deliver interactive English language lessons for groups of young learners and adults

2. Create engaging activities and games to reinforce language concepts and improve comprehension.

3. Teach English vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and listening skills in a manner suitable for young children.

4. Use a variety of teaching materials, including visual aids, props, and multimedia resources, to enhance learning.

5. Foster a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere where students feel comfortable practicing their English skills.

6. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians as needed.

7. Collaborate with other tutors and staff members to coordinate lesson plans and ensure the success of the group classes.

8. Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.

Requirements:

1. High proficiency in English language skills, including grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.

2. Experience working with young children in an educational or recreational setting is a plus.

3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.

4. Creativity and adaptability in designing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.

5. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.

6. Ability to manage a classroom effectively and maintain discipline while fostering a positive learning environment.

7. Previous experience teaching English as a second language or working in a multicultural environment is a plus.
