Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or Chemical Engineering.

• Minimum of 5 years of comprehensive experience in R&D, Product Development, or related fields.

• Experienced in Bakery or Pastry or Dairy Industry

• Certifications: FSSC, Halal, Leadership, Problem Solving/Improvement Tools (e.g., Six Sigma).

• Expertise in hygiene, food safety, GMP, environmental impact control, 5S, quality systems, allergens, and safety.

• Proficient in sensory analysis and market insight.

• Strong problem-solving skills, people development, and project management.

• Familiarity with New Product Development Stage & Gate processes.

Job Description:

• Communicate project innovation briefs, conduct risk analysis, and ensure feasibility.

• Prepare project timelines and track progress through pre-NPD meetings.

• Monitor overall innovation progress and contribute to NSV and ROI, creating contingency and mitigation plans for hurdles and failures.

• Lead cross-functional teams through Stage and Gate steps, ensuring seamless product development from ideation to commercialization.

• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, industry standards, and relevant certifications in the bakery industry.

• Inspire a culture of innovation within the team, actively communicating with consumer insight sub-division and marketing to understand consumer trends.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, promoting innovation and quality excellence within the R&D department.

• Research new developments in R&D organizations worldwide and review team competencies for improvement.
