SCIENCE TEACHER - SD

Responsibilities:

1. Designing, developing and delivering quality lesson plans and curricula that adhere to national and international guidelines.

2. Drawing up suitable assessments and delivering helpful feedback to students, parents and other teachers.

3. Establishing classroom, lab and fieldtrips rules and regulations and ensuring that all students understand what is expected of them.

4. setting up demonstrations and assisting and supervising students while they conduct experiments.

5. Providing extra resources, support and interventions for students who are struggling.

6. Ensuring all permission slips are signed in a timely manner and acting as a fieldtrip chaperone when required.

7. Grading papers, updating records, and handling various administrative tasks.

8. Creating an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and voicing concerns.

9. Assisting with the requirements and training of all new teachers and providing support to students teachers.

10. Participating in other school activities.
