Job Description: Runner Floor (Restaurant)

Position Overview: The Runner Floor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant by facilitating communication between the kitchen and the front of house staff. They are responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to the respective tables in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring that guests receive exceptional service throughout their dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Food Delivery: Transport food orders from the kitchen to the designated tables swiftly and efficiently while maintaining proper presentation and temperature of the dishes.

2. Communication: Serve as a liaison between the kitchen and the front of house team, relaying any special requests or modifications from guests to the appropriate personnel.

3. Table Maintenance: Assist in clearing tables and resetting them for the next guests, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for service.

4. Quality Assurance: Conduct final checks on orders to verify accuracy and completeness before delivering them to guests, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

5. Customer Assistance: Respond promptly to any guest inquiries or requests, providing assistance as needed to enhance their dining experience.

6. Team Collaboration: Work closely with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to coordinate food delivery and maintain efficient workflow during peak hours.

7. Hygiene and Safety: Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times, maintaining a clean and organized work environment to ensure the health and safety of guests and staff.

8. Assistance to Servers: Support servers by refilling beverages, delivering additional condiments or utensils, and assisting with any other tasks required to optimize guest satisfaction.
