Cook Helper

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in preparing a diverse range of salads, including but not limited to green salads, pasta salads, fruit salads, and vegetable salads.

2. Assist in chopping, slicing, dicing, and preparing ingredients for salads according to recipes and portion requirements.

3. Help in maintaining a clean and organized salad bar area, including replenishing ingredients, condiments, and dressings as needed.

4. Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures, including storing ingredients at correct temperatures and maintaining cleanliness of work surfaces and equipment.

5. Assist in ensuring that all salads are prepared and served in a timely manner to meet customer demand.

6. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate salad orders with other menu items and ensure smooth flow of service.

7. Help in monitoring inventory levels of salad ingredients and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.

8. Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing deliveries of fresh produce and other salad ingredients.

9. Provide friendly and efficient customer service by answering customer questions and assisting with special requests.

10. Perform other duties as assigned by the Salad Bar Cook or kitchen management.
